Daniel Schwarzkopf

After earning his degree in psychology Daniel started a career in health services research at the Jena University Hospital in 2010. His research focuses on means to improve the prevention and management of sepsis as well as collaboration between health care professionals. He is the responsible methodologist for the German Quality Network Sepsis (GQNS) – a quality initiative involving more than 70 German acute care hospitals – since 2016 and is leading the coordination bureau of the network since 2019.
