Carsten Schmelzer, bass player, film composer, songwriter, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist with over 160 national and international CD releases. He studied music in LA, USA. He is the film composer for the animated series "I got a rocket" (Rocket & Ich), which won the American Film Emmy Award in 2008. One of his specialties is writing and producing music for children with his band and production team 3Berlin, writing music productions for cinema, TV, and CD formats such as "Benjamin Blümchen", "Toggolino", "Janosch", "Grüffelo", The sandman, Lauras Stern, "Bobby Car", and many more.
Kai Schönberg, graduate drummer (Cologne University of Music) and music producer, works as a studio drummer, for TV shows, played over 30 theater premieres, and was a solo drummer at the Theater-des-Westens in Berlin. Some artists in his company are Lee Konitz, Ernie Watts, Candy Dulfer, Christopher Cross, Sarah Connor, Gypsy Kings, Barbara Schöneberger, Gunter Gabriel, and Johnny Logan.
Ole Boston, music producer, and silent film pianist made his musical debut together with international top acts such as Bob Geldorf, Zucchero, Marvin Gay, and Vangelis at Polydor with the song "Leviathan". Founder of the German Society for Music Therapy Research and producer of compositions transcending medical concerns into the world of music, among others with the Metropol Orchestra of the Netherlands. From 2001-2005 cultural ambassador of the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany in the band "jAAzz".
Vladimir Karparov studied music in Sofia, Hamburg, and Berlin. His music is an unusually successful fusion of contemporary jazz and the rhythmic and melodic colorfulness of Bulgaria's vital folk music. His albums released as a musician and composer, such as "Thracian Dance" (2007), Forkolor (2014), Antihypocrisyl (2016), and Iglika (2022), received high attention in the music world and specialist press. In 2020, he received an award from the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture for popularizing Bulgarian culture worldwide. National and international performances with the V.Karparov Quartet, Balkan Spirit Ensemble, Forkolor Saxophone Quartet, and others.
Diane Weigmann first raised to fame with Top 10 Hits under her name and by her band “The Lemon Babies”. She works also as songwriter for various German artist like “Die Ärzte”, Yvonne Catterfeld, Till Brönner, Howard Carpendale, “Die Höhner”. Joining Carsten within their band 3Berlin they have published more than 20 CDs on major labels and have their own radio show on the kid’s radio station Radio Teddy.
Momo Djender performs internationally with stars like Sting. Becoming a star in the early 90th in his homeland Algeria and Morocco, he moved to Berlin, playing with artists like Klaus Doldinger´s band Passport and on several projects. 2003 the artist Sting invited him for his European Tour to play in his band and sing with him. His incomparable voice, which combines eastern and western spheres, can also be found in well-known solo releases.
