Ellen Heyd

Ellen is in charge of the national sepsis campaign #DeutschlandErkenntSepsis (Germany recognizes Sepsis) at Aktionsbündnis Patientensicherheit (APS) e.V., which was launched in 2021 by its chairwoman, Dr. Ruth Hecker. She has studied “politics and law” in Münster and “European Law” in Edinburgh and has since worked as a project manager in cooperation with institutions of the European Union and the German government. In 2018, she took over the German compliance association [Berufsverband der Compliance Manager (BCM) e.V.], which she led for two years before taking over the association department at Quadriga Media Berlin GmbH. She joined the APS in 2022 and strives to raise awareness for sepsis within Germany.
