Maha Aljuaid

Maha is Director of Clinical Nursing for Hemodialysis and Outpatient Services at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She is a Neuro Critical Care Nurse Specialist and the nursing chapter head at the Saudi Stroke Society, former head chapter for nursing at the Saudi Critical Care society. She obtained her education in Saudi Arabia and United states. Maha is a member of several national committees for practice guidelines, and a speaker at many local, regional, and international conferences.

Maha is a member of the Executive Board at the Global Sepsis Alliance, a co-chair of GSA-Advance, and a member of World Sepsis Day.

Maha is known regionally and globally for her effort in raising sepsis awareness among healthcare professionals and the public.  Research interest is improving sepsis care, enhancing sedation and delirium management as well as improving stroke care. She obtained several awards and published in distinguished journals.
